I'm Christopher Valdez.

I believe the best careers are built around helping people.

For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of serving the Albuquerque community—first behind a salon chair, and today helping people buy and sell homes across New Mexico.

Some people know me as a Realtor.

Others know me as the guy who's been cutting hair in Albuquerque for more than 20 years.

To my daughters, I'm just Dad.

And to my granddaughter... I'm simply Grandpa.

No matter which role I'm in, one thing has always stayed the same: I genuinely love helping people.

Long before I sold homes, I spent my days behind a salon chair listening to people's stories. We celebrated promotions, weddings, babies, new businesses, and fresh starts. We also talked through heartbreak, divorce, loss, and the moments in life that don't always go according to plan.

I learned that people rarely remember exactly what you said.

They remember how you made them feel.

That lesson has shaped every part of my life.

Today, I help people buy and sell homes across New Mexico, but to me, real estate has never just been about houses.

It's about the young couple buying their very first home.

It's about the family finally needing more space.

It's about the empty nesters beginning a new chapter.

It's about helping someone through one of the biggest financial decisions they'll ever make with honesty, patience, and someone they can trust.

I believe homeownership creates opportunity.

It creates stability.

It creates memories.

And for many people, it becomes the foundation for financial freedom.

I've seen firsthand how owning a home can change the course of someone's life. Sometimes it's building equity. Sometimes it's starting a business. Sometimes it's simply having a place that truly feels like home.

That's why I love what I do.

Whether I'm helping someone prepare their home for the market, negotiating the best possible deal, or walking a first-time buyer through every step of the process, my goal is always the same:
